Air Duct Cleaning

​According to the U.S. Department of Energy, 25 to 40 percent of the energy used for heating and cooling is wasted. Contaminants in the heating and cooling system cause it to work harder and shorten the life of your system. When an HVAC system is clean, it doesn’t have to work as hard to maintain the temperature you desire. As a result, less energy is used, leading to improved cost-effectiveness. Another benefit of a clean HVAC system, aside from saving money is also indoor air quality. Indoor air quality is one concern that building managers and building inhabitants have when they investigate HVAC systems. Through normal occupation, we generate a great deal of contaminants and air pollutants, such as dander, dust, and chemicals. These contaminants are pulled into the HVAC system and re-circulated 5 to 7 times per day, on average. Over time, this re-circulation causes a build-up of contaminants in the ductwork.

​On longer projects you’ll get daily status updates via email or phone detailing what areas we’ve completed and where we will be working next. On completion of your project you will receive a before and after report to show the visual improvement of your system.

​As part of your OSHA documentation we will remove smoke and grease from the cooking area and produce a cleaner, cooler kitchen, resulting in a more efficient working environment for you and your kitchen staff and limiting the chance of a fire.

​Dryer vents should be cleaned once a year depending on the age of the dryer and the frequency of use because excessive lint creates fire hazards. A clean exhaust duct allows the discharge of heat, moisture and combustion by-products. Adequate exhaust flow allows clothes to dry faster, use less energy and reduce energy costs. If a dryer takes too long to dry clothes it might be running at unnecessary temperatures and could decrease the life of the machine.
